What makes us fall in love?
- appearance
- personality
- pheromones
Pheromones is actually found in human sweat. Eww right but the interesting thing is that someone did some experiment where a group of females smelled the unwashed tee shirts of a group of sweaty males, and each had to select the one to whom she was most "attracted." Just like in the animal world, the majority of the females chose a shirt from the male whose immune system was the most different from their own. Cool no?
There are actually 3 stages of love.
1. Lust -- the desire to love
2. Attraction -- we actually lose our ability to think at this stage (love is blind)
3. Attachment -- You've passed fantasy love and are entering into real love. This stage of love has to be strong enough to withstand many problems and distractions.
This actually explains briefly why certain feelings happen in love.
me? i should be in the attraction going to attachment stage. but for him, who knows? maybe it's still the lust stage.
